User Onboarding for Wix

BreakGround works on any Wix site via the Custom Code feature (available on premium plans). Add a single script tag through Settings → Tracking & Analytics → Custom Code, and the entire engagement layer becomes available.

BreakGround installs through Wix's Custom Code interface, which is available on Combo, Unlimited, Pro, VIP, and Business/eCommerce plans. The script runs across all pages by default and is supported on both Wix Editor and Wix Studio sites. Wix's own analytics and apps continue to function alongside BreakGround.

How to set up

  1. Open Settings → Tracking & Analytics → Custom Code: From your Wix site dashboard, navigate to Settings → Tracking & Analytics, then click Custom Code to add a new snippet.
  2. Add the snippet: Paste the BreakGround snippet, set placement to Head, and apply to All Pages.
  3. Generate guides from the dashboard: Open BreakGround, paste your Wix site URL, and AI generates the first onboarding guide or popup.
